Shire of Merredin Art Prize

Open to artworks of any medium
Prize: $500 cash
Theme: Merredin Inspired

Entry Cost: $1 for adults, 50c for 15-18 year-olds.

Conditions of entry:

• The artwork needs to be within the dimensions of no larger than A3 and no smaller than A4; it can be long/ wide, as long as it doesn't exceed the total perimeter of 143 cm

• Artwork can be of any medium (Pastel, Paint, Pencil, Print, Mixed, etc)

• Artwork must be Merredin-inspired

• The entrants must be over 15 years of age

• The shire will obtain the digital rights to the winning artwork for 3 years  (1 April 2026 – 1 April 2029), and the artist will retain the physical artwork

• All entries into the show that meet the criteria specified will be automatically entered into the Art prize unless opted out (to opt out, just add a note in when you are submitting your exhibition entry that you do not want it entered into the prize, or tell us when you drop your work off at the Rec Centre).
